Thank you for sharing your experience. Our emoji surcharge reflects the extra embroidery time and stitch count needed to create the design. We strive to keep all customization pricing fair and transparent.
Again, I don’t think you should have an extra fee just because you add an emoji
We appreciate your feedback. The emoji option carries an additional charge because it takes longer to embroider and requires a more complex design than lettering alone.
I really feel like if you’re gonna ask for an embroidery, it should be a one fee not add extra embroidery fee just because you add an emoji

It was made too close to the lettering so the flag pole looks like another 1. It was spaced in the proof. could've been better.
